I’ll be the first to admit that traveling with a baby or a toddler isn’t always sunshine and roses! Sometimes you just need a vacation that is going to be a HOME RUN from the start. I’ve spent a TON of time researching the best kid friendly all inclusive resorts, because I wanted to be sure I had found the most amazing baby and toddler friendly resorts around! I wanted a quick and easy vacation that was going to have an AWESOME kids club, luxury amenities, and amazing food. A tall order to say the least!
What’s so great about an all inclusive resort with kids? Well, there is no need to worry about dishes, cleaning, food prep, or really, ANYTHING! The only thing on the agenda is to relax and enjoy the nice weather and fun activities. Sounds like heaven, right?!
When it comes to babies and toddlers, some all inclusives just KNOW WHAT IS UP. It’s the little touches, like having high chairs ready, having bottle sterilizers, a shaded play area, a separate sleeping area for kids and a (SUPER AMAZING) kids club that really makes the difference between any old resort and a true baby friendly all inclusive or toddler friendly resort.
Since we started traveling with kids, I’ve been making a list of all the best inclusive resorts with childcare, and other baby friendly amenities, especially those resorts that have a kids club for kids under age 3. After much research, scouring over TripAdvisor reviews, and perusing various Facebook discussion groups, these are the top kid friendly all-inclusive luxury resorts I’ve found! I’ve included a few of my own personal recommendations and also some resorts that I’ve had ‘vetted’ by some blogging friends and family members.

The Best All Inclusive Resorts for Babies and Toddlers in Mexico
Finest Resort is hands-down my favorite kid friendly resort in Mexico. Not only is the resort absolutely gorgeous, they also know how to treat families right. We have traveled to Finest Resort twice (and have a third trip planned!) and each time has been better than the next! We have taken a baby as young as 12 weeks and have been with our eldest when he was 2 and 3 years old. Finest is definitely baby and toddler friendly, and we saw lots of young families while we were there.
I love the aesthetic of the resort, it is very modern and clean and you truly feel like you have landed in a luxury 5-star resort. The rooms are also beautiful and the best part is that they are SUPER practical for families. We have opted for the ‘family suite’ on both visits, and this room has a totally separate bedroom for the kids. There is NOTHING worse than sitting in the dark from 7 pm or for every nap while on vacation. A separate sleeping space for kids is SO key!
The kids club is definitely a highlight. They have an amazing water park that is just for toddlers and they also have a huge water park for older kids! The kids club programming is a lot of fun, they have horseback riding every week and my son LOVED making a tye-dye t-shirt and still wears it to this day. My only complaint about the kids club is that kids under 3 require parent supervision. If they had a baby-minding service, it would be even more amazing!

Maya Riviera, Mexico
We recently got back from this family friendly resort and loved it! We were attending a wedding, so I didn’t have my usual chance to pick the resort based on hours of TripAdvisor searching 🙂 When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to find out there were so many amazing baby-friendly features at Grand Palladium White Sands.
There are three interconnected kid friendly resorts in the Grand Palladium complex. We chose White Sands because they had an option for a separate bedroom at an affordable price. Having a bedroom (with a door) meant that our youngest son could be napping while my eldest watched TV, or played cards, or just chillaxed in the living room space. We still ended up all sleeping in the same room, but at least there was an option for some extra space if we needed it.
The beach at this resort was really nice, and the water was a beautiful blue! Both my kids loved splashing in the waves and playing in the sand. Don’t forget to check out my post with my favorite toddler beach gear for all the best hacks to keep the kids entertained and mommy relaxed on the beach.
Grand Palladium’s kid’s club and kid amenities are awesome! First and foremost, they have a FREE baby club. It’s rare to find a kids club that doesn’t charge for kids under 3! I was so excited when I heard about this because I was looking forward to even an HOUR on a pool chair to myself. The baby club was well situated, and both my sons loved playing with the toys, and in the giant ball pit. Parents got a walkie-talkie for communication which I thought was a nice touch. My only complaint was that several of the staff didn’t speak ANY English so I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my kids for an extended time. I saw a few families who actually hired a nanny through this company, and I was pretty jealous because they all looked so relaxed and happy!
The resort has a kids and toddler waterpark and lots of great pools for kids. There is no heated pool, which was a bummer for me (I am always cold!). Overall, I do think Finest Resort is a class above, but then, the price was also much higher there. This resort packs a lot of baby friendly value for a reasonable price.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
I’m so happy to have my friend, Emily over at Henry and Andrew’s guide, share her review of Buenaventura Grand in Puerto Vallarta. If you are headed to Puerto Vallarta, make sure to check out her guide to the best things to do in Puerto Vallarta.
Hands down, Buenaventura Grand in Puerto Vallarta is the best all-inclusive resort in Mexico for toddlers! We are not the “all-inclusive” type of travelers, but when we knew we wanted to go on a trip during our parental leave with our baby number 2 when he was about six-weeks-old with our 2-year-old, we knew we didn’t want to risk going on an adventurous trip.
We chose Buenaventura and we are so happy we did! They had spacious rooms with ocean view balconies (so key for getting some sleep and having a place to sneak away when the kids are asleep!), a toddler pool, and beach with mild waves. All the food you could imagine, all day long including room service and a fridge in the room which got stocked with beverages of choice every day. The staff was phenomenal and they also had nightly entertainment.
Our then 2-year-old loved the fire dancers! They also had beach toys to borrow, so we didn’t have to lug our own. Also, it was a separate company from the resort, but we were able to rent all the necessary baby and toddler gear, delivered and picked up from our room. It was a perfect vacation spot for our new family of four and we can’t wait to go back!
Playa Del Carmen, Mexico
This hotel advertises itself as ‘a luxury playground catering to adults and children alike’. There are so many great amenities that this resort offers including a water park, climbing wall, and a huge variety of restaurants and pools.
The kids club has a daycare service for kids from 12 months to 4 years. From age 5 and upwards they have a separate kids club with activities. Ummm, kids club from 12 months and up? AMAZING! The trip advisor reviews of the kids club are amazing too!! This resort is definitely top of my list for my next toddler vacation!
This hotel also has the ‘family concierge option’ which sounds like a great way to add some luxury to your family friendly vacation. Included with the family concierge is access to a shared butler who can do things like make dinner reservations and access to a heated pool that is restricted to those in the family concierge rooms. Especially with toddlers and babies, I really love a resort that has a heated pool, as depending on the time of year the water in the pools can be a bit chilly!
Since I have not personally been to this resort, I always look at TripAdvisor to read the latest reviews and comments from guests who have recently been to the resort. The reviews of this hotel are pretty amazing! We can’t wait to check out this resort and will definitely post a full review when we do!

Club Med is well known for having a wide selection family-friendly resorts. This brand has been around for over 40 years and is well known as a dependable and trustworthy brand. The Club Med Cancun Yucatan is newly designed and renovated, adding lots of new luxury to an already great resort experience.
The Club Med kids club starts at age 2 with the “Petit Club Med” club. There is a wide variety of activities offered to keep the little ones happy and engaged. Mini club med (age 4 and up) even offers a chance for kids to participate in sports like Tennis and Golf.
Club Med offers lots of extra baby and toddler amenities that make your trip easier. Included in their service are baby food, bottle warmers, a cot in your room, a baby bath and a high chair. Sounds amazing!
If you are looking for luxury, Club Med Cancun Yucatan has recently renovated a section of their resort to the new Jade 5 trident luxury space. Upgraded rooms, concierge access and access to an exclusive pool are included with this room category. I recently had a friend come back from this resort, and she had a raving review! This place looks AMAZING 🙂
The Best All Inclusive Resorts for Babies and Toddlers in The Carribean
Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
Beaches definitely had to make the list for baby toddler-friendly all inclusive resorts in the Carribean. The Beaches brand is well known for being ‘the brand’ for luxury family friendly holidays. These resorts have it all!
Beaches offer childcare to even the tiniest babies in the infant, toddler, and kids clubs. They employ only INA certified nannies who have training in childcare and education. Being truly-inclusive they also have specific training in caring for children with Autism and other special needs.
The Beaches Turks and Caicos resort has so many amenities. There is a 45,000 square foot water park (WOW!), four uniquely themes villages and 12 miles of beautiful beach with crystal clear water.
The only drawback? The price! I almost had a heart attack when I saw the price for a week for my family of four! We have several friends who have been to this resort and they all say that it is worth every penny. I am dying to go, but I think we will wait until our kids are a bit older. I want them to truly enjoy all this resort offers (and because we need to start saving up now!!)
Since I haven’t been to Beaches myself, I asked my blogger friend over at DadsVacationGuide.com for his review. Here’s what he had to say:
Beaches Turks & Caicos is the all-inclusive destination for families with children of all ages, especially babies. The resort has 21 different restaurants, 6 pools (3 swim-up bars), and its own water park. The water park includes a lazy river, surf simulator, and several water slides. We also enjoyed the several water activities such as catamaran sails, a glass bottom boat tour of the island, water trikes, kayaks. All is included with your stay. We didn’t scuba dive, but even it is complimentary to resort guests.
Beaches offers complimentary child care for infants, where most resorts only take children 3 and over. All nannies are certified with over 2,000 training hours. Childcare is offer from 8am – 5pm and 6-9pm. Finally, our 9-month old loved Camp Sesame. Beaches has partnered with Sesame Street and children can interact with the characters throughout the day. There is a nightly Sesame Street stage show where we discovered that our daughter loves Abby Cadabby.
Runaway Bay, Jamaica
This Jamaican resort has a focus on family-friendly fun. As they advertise on their site ‘all ages are in for a good time with us’.
The kids club gets rave reviews on TripAdvisor and accepts kids as young as 18 months. Kids are divided up into separate groups based on their ages so that the activities can be appropriate to the ages in the group.
The resort boasts a lot of family friendly activities including a large water park and ‘Red Ruby Ranch’ which has fun outdoor activities for kids and parents alike. This resort has one of the best beaches in Jamaica! This resort is small, which gives it a cozy feel perfect for families.
For those looking for luxury, they have select suites that include butler and/or concierge service.

If you are looking for something unique in the Carribean this luxury 5-star resort has just that. The beautiful blue waters are to die for and this resort looks luxurious for adults and kids alike.
This resort is not entirely all inclusive but does offer some all inclusive plans. Read the fine print when you book your package! The kids club accepts kids from 6 months and up (small charge for kids under age 2). Their facilities look fantastic and the reviews of the kids club are great!
The resort has a variety of activities for those who like adventure including diving, water sports, and yoga (extra $$). There is also a screening room to watch movies which I think would be awesome for a family night activity.
You can book this resort here. Don’t forget to check out TripAdvisor for the latest ratings and reviews!
